This is the tale of our genealogy search for our ancestor, Obadiah Taylor. We have been sifting through genealogical records for years, and although we found information about his wife, 9 children, 43 grandchildren, land, livestock and friends, we don't know what he did before he arrived in Canada circa 1797. We suspect that he might even have been married, fathered, and widowed.
